An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursing Assistant to join our vibrant Neurology Ward Team working in our busy, purpose-built hospital that is fully equipped with the surgical equipment and diagnostic facilities commensurate with a flagship specialist veterinary hospital.
The position will involve all aspects of veterinary nursing care of inpatients across a wide range of disciplines including critical care. The role of the nursing assistant is pivotal in assisting the team to provide exemplary care.
Although fast paced and busy, this role is very rewarding; knowing that you have been involved in the care and recovery of patients and ensured their comfort whilst hospitalised gives great job satisfaction!
You will be highly organised, hardworking and have a passion and drive for delivering outstanding client and patient care. You will be a team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment whilst also being able to use your initiative and challenge the status quo. You will also have a desire to build a career working with and caring for animals.
This position is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, between the hours of 06.30am and 18.30pm Monday to Friday and a 1:4 weekend rota with compensated time off and paid overtime.
