El graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2015. She then worked in a 24-hour Small Animal Hospital in Athens for 4 years, mainly focusing on sSoft tissue surgery and emergency cases. In 2018, she starting working towards a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice with the University of Liverpool, prior to joining DWR in 2020 as a rotating intern. El has developed a strong interest in neurology and neurosurgery and wishes to pursue further training in this field.
