Bourbon suffered from bilateral severe uveitis associated with retinal detachment and secondary ‘end stage glaucoma’ causing blindness and his eyes were removed to avoid ongoing pain. Only a few months after his surgery his owner reported that he was doing so well that he had even stopped bumping into things!
