Rodolfo graduated from the University of Milan in1989 and worked in general practice for 6 years. In 1995 he joined the Royal Veterinary College as a resident in neurology and neurosurgery. He achieved Board certification in Veterinary Neurology in 1997 and became a staff clinician at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals.
In 1999, Rodolfo was awarded Petplan funding to pursue a 3 year research project into intervertebral disc degeneration in dogs, for which he was awarded his PhD. Rodolfo was then appointed Lecturer in Neurology at the Royal Veterinary College. In 2007, he joined NDSR, where he is now Director of the Neurology service.
Rodolfo became an RCVS recognised Specialist in Neurology in 2009. He has particular interest in intervertebral disc disease, vitamin E deficiency, caudal cervical instability in Dobermans, brain surgery, syringohydromyelia and advanced diagnostic imaging.
