Student Veterinary Nurses

Being a training practice for Student Veterinary Nurses, we are proud to be part of training our future Registered Veterinary Nurses.

Our Student Veterinary Nurses our recruited from our team of dedicated Nursing Assistants and undergo a minimum 2-year training programme where they attend college one day a week, and gain their practical skill set within the hospital for the remainder of their time.

Our Student Veterinary Nurses work alongside our Registered Veterinary Nurses at all times and are supported by their own Clinical Coach throughout their training, which is a member of our nursing team who has taken further courses to support these students with their studies. Students must sit written, oral, and practical exams, write assignments, gather a practice skill log and work a minimum number of hours within a clinic in order to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
