Nurses

I first joined NDSR as a Nursing Assistant in 2018 having previously been Operations Manager in another industry. A deep-rooted love for animals and their wellbeing brought me to the veterinary world where I developed my passion and knowledge.

Following Linnaeus Manager Training, Mental Health First Aider Training, Neurodiversity Training and lots of practical experience I progressed to Lead Supervisor and Pastoral Nurse Manager. My position as a manager means I’m responsible for the emotional, social and mental wellbeing of the Nursing Teams.

I love supporting my co-workers, in what can be an emotionally demanding and high pressure environment. Empathy and listening are key skills to my role, along with developing a culture where everyone feels comfortable to talk about their personal challenges with confidence and without stigma.
